# Fohrkast Refund and Cancellation Policy

This page provides general information about Fohrkast's own operations. It is not legal advice.

## Summary

The Service has a free plan and paid plans (currently Starter, Pro, Business, and Nonprofit), plus one-time purchases. Paid subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as chosen at checkout and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. One-time purchases do not renew.

Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company) is our merchant of record and seller of record. It processes payments, invoices, and refunds. Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy; to start one, contact us at support@fohrkast.com.

## Cancelling a Paid Plan

You can cancel at any time in Billing, then Manage subscription, which opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the paid period you already paid for. Access is not pro-rated, and cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund of the current period.

## Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer in the EU or EEA you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract.

Because Fohrkast is a service supplied immediately on your express request, at checkout you expressly request that performance begins now. If you withdraw within the 14 days, you pay a proportionate amount for the part already supplied (CRD Article 14(4)(a)); you fully lose the right of withdrawal only once the service has been fully performed (Article 16(a)).

To withdraw before performance begins, send us the model withdrawal form: To the Service Operator (see Company Information): I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: [service]. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].

## When We Offer Refunds

Outside the statutory withdrawal right above, refunds are discretionary. We will consider a refund where you were charged in error, a renewal you did not intend was charged and the service was not used in that period, or the service was materially unavailable through our fault.

We generally do not refund a renewal simply because you forgot to cancel before it billed, but we review each request in good faith.

Nothing here limits the mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence.

## How to Request a Refund

Email support@fohrkast.com from your account email, with your order or invoice ID from your Lemon Squeezy receipt and a short reason. We aim to respond within a few business days.

Approved refunds are returned by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. The time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider.
